How do the Journals Work?

Each Journal is completed digitally on the Journaling platform. You will follow the journal entry section according to the specific journal you purchased. As each entry is completed your journal is "filling" up and evolving right before your eyes. Once your journal is "full" and you reach the journal submission entry section at the end, its time to print and ship your one of a kind journal to your doorstep!

What happens after I purchase my Journal(s)?

Once purchased, you will receive a confirmation email with your login information and a link for you to follow to begin your journaling experience! The journal you purchased will be shown under your learn tab (in the journaling platform) within 24 hours from the time of purchase. Once visible, you will click the journal and become familiar with the platform and start your first journal entry! Be sure to review the FAQs within your purchased journal. 

Can I purchase more than one Journal?

Certainly! In fact, If purchasing more than one, each additional journal thereafter is offered at a discount- will be applied at checkout when purchased on uncommonjournals.com. The shipping and printing of each journal remains the same for each.

What will be included in my printed journal?

Your personalized journal's will feature your exquisitely written pages and a selection of your chosen images, all beautifully bound together like a published book. 

Will I receive a PDF preview for approval prior to printing beginning?

During the journal submission process, you will be asked if you would like to receive a PDF proof prior to printing. If you answer yes to this question, you will receive it prior to us beginning the printing process. Please note this will delay the journal a few days. 

Is there a printing cost once I am ready to submit my journal?

Yes, there is a onetime cost to print and ship your journal. Once your journal is "full" you will submit each journal to be printed and shipped directly to you.

Is the printing cost included in the initial cost of the journal?

No, there are two different costs associated with your journaling experience. First, the initial purchase of the journal to include the platform use, second the cost to print and ship your journal.

How long does it take to fill up the journals, and be ready for printing?

Each journal will have its own timeframe. But on average I would say 12 months depending on which journal is chosen. For example-The Story of you | Baby's first year is meant to be done over the span of the baby's first year. However, if you are like me and don't start till later, you can complete the journal quickly (hint; use your social media to backdate the months/milestones thus far.).

Do I get to choose what's included in my journal?

While the manuscript templates remain constant across all journals, it is personalized to your journal entries by integrating your words and images into the template. This ensures that your journal is unique and tailored to what you have to say.

What is the return policy?

We do not offer returns at this moment. You are purchasing access to our journaling platform, once ready to print your journal, it is one of a kind and unique to you only. therefore, returns are not accepted.
